"My father who was a fashion designer died from Skin Cancer when I was six years old, I want to be able to help the cancer council raise funds to help support cancer research & treatment."

An eternally inspired designer, stylist, and entrepreneur, Petrova Hammond has established a strong reputation as one of the brightest young stars to emerge from Melbourne's vibrant fashion scene. Since graduating with a B.A. in Fashion Design from RMIT in 2003, Petrova has successfully forged a new identity for the Rosemin label as their head designer, patternmaker and merchandiser, created the online vintage clothing business ‘Lady Petrova Vintage', and opened the iconic LADY Boutique which showcases the best in local fashion design as well as her own unique creations.

Petrova's talent and originality were recognised in the first Australian Season of the televised design competition Project Runway. Petrova's consistent innovation and craft earned her a place in the Final Three and she was commissioned to design a collection for the Season Finale. A popular favourite on the program, her designs were described by host Kristy Hinze as "Beautiful, bright and breathtaking; a very distinctive style that makes you stand out from the crowd."
